This week was rough. All of us had the flu, but somehow I stayed healthy enough to take care of everyone. Ritter is usually the healthy one, and I am the most sickly - we switched roles this week! While fighting a fever, Ritter helped me put up shelves, hang pictures, and move everything. I'm so thankful for my husband. I was also happy to finally put our girls' room together with things that we've collected and made over the years. Hope you all enjoy seeing it!
Bella was so excited about her room!
To see how I made the piece on the door, check out my previous blog post.
My favorite photo of the day.
Bella and Ellie share a room - although Ellie always calls it "Bella's room."
The quilt was made by Ritter's grandmother. So thankful for family heirlooms.
The rhino, the colorful containers, and the kitchen are all from Ikea.
An assortment of art we've collected over our almost ten years of marriage.
The blue bunny was a family gift when Nuelie was born. The flamingo is from Ikea.

She's eating a twizzler cause I use candy to bribe my kids for photoshoots...
A "Bella" doll from her grandparents.
Her eyes are always smiling.
I made these curtains... it took all day! I used fabric from Target sheets and Ikea bed throws.

Remember the dollhouse renovation?
We found all these items at our trusty thrift store. They must have come from the same home, right?

I'm so thankful for my sister, and am so excited for these two and their friendship.

Dance party in their room!

Thank you to Melody Often for her painting.

Usually the books are all on the floor. Let's see how long this lasts...
We have three of these old school desks. Bella's baby quilt still looks pretty good!
When we started looking for a house, I started making this rug for the girls. I had no idea if if would fit, or what kind of room it would be, but I knew I wanted them to have a special rug.
The rug is made from dozens of bedsheets that I ripped into thin strips. All the strips were sewn together to make lots of "yarn." After that its like making a giant scarf.

Love them.

I know its a bit cliche to have picture ledges for books, but I love it... The kids have decided that the three shelves will hold books to read yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

Yes, Nuelie was there too.
