“God gave us life and freedom.” These were the words I heard from President Jimmy Carter at his Sunday School Class on November 22, 2015 in Maranatha Baptist Church in Plains, Georgia. My question to you is “What are you going to do with the precious life that you are given?” My life changed forever when I became a father ten years ago. I finally learned how to “give” rather than “take.” I replaced the word “selfishness” with “selflessness.” I discovered what “love” is and how to experience “joy.” Life is good! I don’t need any material things in life to be happy. I am content with my life as-is today! I love the fact that my son Matthew is honest, fun-loving, kind to a fault, generous, and has Jesus in his big heart! As much as I love Matthew, I feel great to be loved by him in return.”
